Case Study: Lehelcoachbuilders

The Lehel Coachbuilders is a good example of the web site growing from 10 pages into an extensive multilingual (9 languages) web site with stable positions in search engines.
Some years ago Lehel Coachbuilders asked Team Discovery to create a nice looking internet presence for their Horse box sales business. The web site was created as simple brochure with the brief:
- up to 10 static pages
- Photo gallery
- Content Management System based on Macromedia Contribute
- Flexible structure to allow future growth
- Search Engine Optimisation
- Active Search Engine registration and targeted promotion in the web
After initial success the content was extended following business development strategy:
- 8 additional language versions have been added
- The information for each product was extended
- Virtual Panoramic tours (360°)
Multilingual Content
Team Discovery used native speaking translators for each language version. Content includes specific terminology which needs to be taken into account. The translated text has been verified by independent native speaking testers.
Some language versions (see Arabic as an example) required special corrections in design/layout.
HTML and content for each language version was checked and corrected to be sure it meets other countries web requirements. Search Engine Optimisation was done for local Search Engines.
Virtual Panoramic Tours (360°)
Virtual Panoramic Tours (360°) (see example) were created to show the interior of Horse boxes. The technical challenges were small space inside horse boxes and low light conditions.

The specific of this photo gallery (see example) is that the photos can be managed in Macromedia Contribute.
Content Management System (CMS)
Content Management System is based on Macromedia Contribute and allow Lehel Coachbuilders to update the content from their office or home computers.
Search Engine Optimisation
Signifcant work was carreid out to optimise the site structure and keywords to obtain good positions.
