Case Studies: Deans Blinds & Awnings
Deans Blinds & Awnings manufacture and install patio awnings, shop blinds and many other types of blinds and awnings from their factory in Southwest London. The company has been established over 100 years.
The brief was to redesign and upgrade an old website to refresh the design, optimise the navigation and reduce the maintenance time and cost.
Design
Design and layouts were updated completely but still keep the elements of previous style which had good feedback from company clients.
Navigation
The navigation conception is designed to be friendly for visitors. It resulted in a web site which is fast, simple to navigate and to find the information.
Content Management System (CMS)
CMS has intuitive interface and allows to maintain the web site content by the administrative personal without special technical knowledge. To keep the web site style consistent the CMS allows to choose the correct styles and preformatted content elements.
Catalogue
Catalogue is the most important part of the web site. Custom Layouts were designed for CMS and front end. Products can be easily updated, moved into another sections, displayed in required order. Photo gallery for each product allows to show all product details with enlargements.
